Eliason and TKS Motorsports learn lots in Knoxville return; Additional Knoxville start ahead

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (April 21, 2025) - All laps are great laps at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, and for Visalia, California’s Cory Eliason and Iowa’s own TKS Motorsports, their return to the Sprint Car Capital of the World was all about the lap time, eventually concluding their two-race turned one-race World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series weekend with a Last Chance Showdown start on Saturday, April 19.
There were over 60 cars entered for competition at the Marion County Fairgrounds half mile, and although the team’s night ended short of the $12,000-to-win A-Main, TKS Motorsports garnered a lot of knowledge, already aiming to utilize their notes in an upcoming start on Saturday, April 26.
“With a field like that, it’s easy to get behind the eight ball. I think we were a lot better than what the results show, but we just couldn’t capitalize and get ourselves in better positions. We took in a lot and we’re excited to give it another go on Saturday,” Eliason, ace of Troy and Tammy Renfro’s Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Webb Family Farms, Landus, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, AL Driveline, Justice Brothers, Serenity Custom Woodworking, Norwalk Small Engines, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “Hats off to Troy and Tammy Renfro. They’re willing to put in the work and do whatever it takes to make this team better. This weekend is a new weekend.”
