By Fully Injected Motorsports:
MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (August 21, 2023) - The 2023 Knoxville Raceway season is set to come to a close on Saturday evening, August 26, and Mitchellville, Iowa’s TKS Motorsports, wheeled by Waco, Texas, youngster, Chase Randall, is ready to go out on top, aiming to conclude their Knoxville schedule with an elusive victory. Randall, who was hired at the midpoint of TKS Motorsports’ current agenda, has proven victory is in reach, most recently finishing 13th in Knoxville Raceway’s coveted $185,000-to-win Knoxville Nationals finale on Saturday, August 12.
“That’s our goal,” Troy Renfo, owner of the TKS Motorsports, Albaugh - Your Alternative, Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, deWit Construction, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “We know Chase is more than capable of winning at Knoxville, and to conclude our year on top would be perfect.
“Just can’t say enough about everyone’s effort along the way,” Renfo continued. “It’s been fun, and although our weekend at the Jackson Nationals ended shy of our overall goals, we’re still making progress.”
As noted, recent competition took TKS Motorsports and Chase Randall to the Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota, for the annual Jackson Nationals on August 17-19. The team would go on to qualify for the weekend’s $25,000-to-win finale, scored 17th on the final rundown.
TKS Motorsports and Chase Randall will continue their 2023 campaign with a return visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, August 26. The evening’s program will be headlined with Season Championship Night - the final sprint car event of the year.
