Giles and TKS Motorsports aim to turn corner with active June slate

MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (May 31, 2022) - Despite a slower than expected start to their 2022 campaign, Grimes, Iowa’s Ryan Giles and TKS Motorsports are continuing to make gains, hoping to put that progress to good use during a busy June slate that includes a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series appearance at the Sprint Car Capital of the World in just under two weeks.
Giles, who is still working to achieve his first top-ten score of the 2022 season, kicked-off his most recent visit to Knoxville Raceway with a bang, not only earning the eighth-fastest qualifying lap of 27 entries, but racing on to finish fourth during heat race competition. The former Knoxville Raceway 410 Rookie of the Year went on to finish 16th during the evening’s main event.
“We’re excited for the next few weeks. We have one weekly program between us and the World of Outlaws, so hopefully we can fine tune some things this weekend and perform well when the Outlaws come to town,” Troy Renfro stated, TKS Motorsports team owner. “A great weekend against the Outlaws would make up for any struggles leading up to that.”
ON DECK:
Ryan Giles and TKS Motorsports will continue their 2022 campaign with another round of action at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, June 4. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will visit Knoxville on Friday and Saturday, June 10-11.
